Replaced my Hornet....with a new Hornet!

Since I only owed about $1200 on my lease I paid it off and got a brand new 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T Plus in Gray Cray. Same exact options as my blue one...just gray now.

This one seems better put together than the blue one. There's no large gaps between the doors, between the doors and the fenders, etc. The skirts under the doors were assembled correctly and aren;t coming off. The sunroof sounds more smooth and less clunky when it opens and closes and the doors made a much better sounding thunk when you close them.

I got $12,500 in discounts and rebates. I also got 2yrs of maintenance for free as well. I wanted to get one before the EV credit went away at the end to the month which was the biggest push to get a new one. My payment dropped by about $40/mo even though it's the same vehicle as I had before.

My dealer had to look everywhere to find a vehicle with this configuration but luckily they were able to find one about 100 miles away and that dealership was more than happy to give it up.

We just leased a Hornet. We've only had the Hornet a week are thinking about another one? In Oregon, they wanted everyone to drive and EV but screw the Buyer/Leesee with penalties. Dodge charged only $995 for the Lease, State Taxes , DMV and other Fees totaled around $1350. Dealer fees $250. So $2600 down. But for $68 a month, another one is tempting. We originally wanted the Hornet GT but they weren't dealing much on a Lease but a Purchase was a really hot deal. Now that we have the Hybrid, we really like it.

Congrats on your new Hornet. We also just looked at a Tonale. There seems to be deals out there.

If you want an R/T you have until the end of the month to get the EV Credit (if you lease it). The EV credit goes away on 9/30.

My lease payment now is $403/mo, 10,000 miles for 24mo through Stellantis which is less than my other Hornet that is the same exact car except its gray with the same terms (10K miles ,24mo) through Ally Auto Leasing.

I also did $0 down...just sign and drive. I don't wanna put money down on a lease if I can help it.

My lease was through Ally so I logged into their site like I would to make a payment and in there is like Lease End options and the options were to pay off early and turn it in or buy it out with the buyout quote. So I just chose turn it in early and paid off the lease as an extra payment. After 24hrs my balance said $0 owed. The payoff balance also included the disposition fee as well.
