I don't think the buttons are supposed to light up, I believe they're just solid plastic buttons with white decals but I'll have to check when I'm in the car again to be sure.

As for the dash lights, make sure you're on the automatic exterior lights setting as I don't think the dash lights can be controlled in any other setting. Also make sure you push the scroll wheel fully up or down and hold it there as it's not a true scroll wheel like other Chrysler vehicles. If it still doesn't work then it might be a bug to fix or another setting affecting it that I'm not aware of.

The FCW has been problematic for a lot of users here, including myself. It's often disabled upon startup (along with the parking sensors) or in heavy rain. They've already pushed a handful of nice software fixes so I'm hoping this can be fixed via an update as well.

My assumption with the hands-free tailgate is that it was either supposed to be on the GT and was later stripped as a cost-saving measure, or that it was intended only for the R/T but was left in the manual for the 2023 models. I have no idea whether it's a software issue or if the hardware just isn't present at all.

I just experienced this the other day and it wasn't really even raining that hard. I guess I need to run up to the dealership and get those software fixes.
Sorry, just to be clear, the updates have fixed other software-related issues with the gauge cluster and infotainment. The FCW is still an issue and I was just saying that I'm hoping it's something they can fix via a software update.
