These 17-inch wheels on the base Dodge Hornet beats having steel wheels with hub caps but they still look too basic to me. It looks so much better with the bigger wheels!
I did GT plus, nothing extra since it already has a lot. If needed or wanted I'll swap wheels out at later time. Basically my after work putts around vehicle, trios etc. Paid off vehicle will be strictly for work use as I get reimbursed weekly so it'll be to pay down hornet or do little goodies later down the roadI dunno, I'm starting to think that now that I don't have a 100 mile a day commute anymore, maybe the GT is the way to go. That R/T really gets up there....
I have two cars that have mostly sat since 2020. Commuting mileage really adds up.I dunno, I'm starting to think that now that I don't have a 100 mile a day commute anymore, maybe the GT is the way to go. That R/T really gets up there....
Personally I think you can't go wrong in any way, 18s would be ideal sweet spot I'd say. You probably could get away with the 17s just different rims. Which is what I will be doing to my GT plus eventually, didn't opt for black out or track package. Later down the road I'll be swapping the basic 17s outThe 17 inch wheels look a little small to me, I like the 18 inch ones. I think the 20s might be a little too sharp for me.
I have a friend who did both options but no discount from dodge for having blacktop package for 18 inch wheels and getting track pack with bigger wheels. She basically he has the 20 inch wheels but no discount off the black top. I know some other car companies discount in-between for packages that may over lapGotta give customers some incentive to option up.
Shocked me when my friend said he has ht plus track pack and blacktop package. I think because you have gotten them both sure you're getting the 20s they should discount it because the blacktop package you're just getting emblems, trim, and mirrors different colors at that point. Nope, said his invoice is still full price for it. Again, why I didn't opt for any packages and can just take my emblems off and dip the 17s until I want them swapped.Yeah, I might get the R/T with the blacktop package..that and the tech package is probably plenty for me. I don't think the Plus trim is done right, that's a lot to take to get vented seats, which are pretty important with a black interior. Then again, the vented seats on my Niro have never impressed me all that much anyway.
Does she have her Hornet's invoice or window sticker yet? One of the options should show a lower price, or there should be a credit.I have a friend who did both options but no discount from dodge for having blacktop package for 18 inch wheels and getting track pack with bigger wheels. I believe his invoice doesn't have a discount, we were just talking about it yesterday. It may show later upon delivery and buying process.Does she have her Hornet's invoice or window sticker yet? One of the options should show a lower price, or there should be a credit.
However I see from this one that that may not always be the case.
