Had the 2024 hornet rt plus with tech package for a week now, leased. Noticed second day the passenger side mirror did not auto fold, just stayed open thankfully, sent dealer an email they were supposed to schedule a visit but did not happen yet. Today wife had a short trip with no issues, but next time she needed to go back out all the warning lights and messages came on and now it does not turn on or display anything. Calling it to get towed in the morning. Yay
Vehicle concerns are never fun. If you require assistance while your vehicle is at the dealer, please let us know. Our team is willing to see where we can best provide support in rectifying your concern.

I bought by car used in January of 2024, it is a 2023 GT plus. I did not notice any problems until May of 2024, but since then, it has been a crazy ride. I have had dash alarms ranging from Hill Park Assist needing to be serviced, Adaptive Cruise Control failing, Airbags needing to be serviced, Forward Collision Warning failing, and even my Power Steering needing to be serviced. The power steering has gone out a couple of times, but will click back in. It doesn't always coincide with the warning on the dash. My tire pressure sensors also have problems sometimes (manually check and they are fine). I haven't had the mirror problems yet, but the alarm incident many people have mentioned did happen once in the summer of 2024.

Which brings us to me having to have my car towed this morning because I tried to remote start it (a chilly 2 degrees F) and it honked twice and didn't turn on. I thought that was odd (no check engine light), so I went out to check and it was stuck in accessory mode. Headlights were on, the car could detect the fob (which kept telling me it was low on battery when it wasn't because I replaced the batteries yesterday), and my phone was connected to android auto, but I could not get the car out of accessory mode. It kept saying that the car wasn't in park. The manual shift override that the tow guy tried to use to get my car into neutral also didn't work. Got it to the dealership and they let me know that 2 fuses were blown. I am not sure what two fuses, but am hoping to get more information tomorrow.

And to top it all off, when it is really cold, my driver's side door won't latch. You can limp it along by locking the door and it will stay shut, but isn't secure. Once the car warms up, it goes away. I haven't been able to get it to the dealership with this problem before my car warms up enough and they cannot recreate it, so I guess I'm stuck.

Sounds like we all made a poor choice.
We can certainly understand your frustration in regard to this concern. Our team would like to see where we can better aid alongside your dealer if possible. Yes Thank you @Dodge for stepping up and Helping out. As The Hornet community is small and split because of the first Gen problems that where common in the 23s
The other question is when will Direct Connection give products for the Hornet
No new information has come out at all
We can definitely have this inquiry reviewed for more information. Once found, we will relay it accordingly.
